Chapters Living Assisted Living is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents by maintaining the physical condition of our facility. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address any maintenance issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
• Assist with the upkeep of the grounds and landscaping.
• Assist with the installation and maintenance of equipment and appliances.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Assistant or similar role.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
